The JD17 Foundation started as a promise David Diroll made to his son Jack on getting him a safer football helmet for the next season. Jack, a 7th grader, obviously excited for himself asked what could be done for the rest of his team and league. The journey begins with the formation of the JD17 Foundation℠ which aims to work directly with Equipment Manufacturers, Technology Providers, Youth Sports Organizations, Leagues, Schools, Research Organizations etc… to provide world class resources to young athletes, their parents and coaches.
We will contribute by bringing world class education, technology, equipment and training to young athletes in hope to reduce the risk of serious injury.

Giving: We will contribute to those individuals and organizations in need.
